At 3:00 p.m., come and help with raised garden building and learn to level raised beds and fill and plant- there will also be food (a cookout) provided from 5 to 6:00 p.m. All are invited to participate in the meal even if you can’t help with the garden. (Weather permitting).
Theatre Main Stage Production: “Major Barbara”
A Salvation Army officer becomes disillusioned when much needed donations are accepted from a whiskey distiller and a weapons manufacturer — her father! Does the work of salvation require a pact with the devil? Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 15, and Saturday, April 16, in at Earlham College, Runyan Center’s Wilkinson Theatre. Gamelan Ensemble Concert
Come enjoy an evening of traditional Javanese music and dance performed by the Earlham Javanese Gamelan Ensemble and guests F.X. Widaryanto and Charles Sullivan on our sumptuous gamelan, a large set of mostly melodic bronze percussion instruments tuned to scales that use characteristically Javanese intervals.

Gospel Revelation’s Spring Concert
Join Earlham’s largest and most multi-cultural organization as they bring to the stage their joyful roar of up-tempo contemporary songs of praise. Representing nearly 50 countries, this 175-voice choir includes students from all over the world, making beautiful, uplifting music and creating a unifying experience for all. Admission is Free.
Karole Passmore is a freelance writer who enjoys writing articles and short stories, interviewing local people, and researching non-fiction subject matter– preferably historical. Graduate of RHS, Ivy Tech Richmond, and Earlham College– with a major in History, Karole has spent most of her life in Wayne County and enjoys the quaint atmosphere of a small town.
