A Solar Eclipse!

All over Wayne County on Monday, some kids were able to observe a possibly once in their lifetime occurrence in their own backyards…well the school yards anyway.

In Centerville at the Centerville Abington Elementary school, kids from 2-6th grade were scattered over the school grounds, some on blankets and all with protective glasses, looking up.

Teachers and the principal were in on the fun as well.  What a great way to observe science in action!

Now we wait for 2024 when Wayne County with be in the path of a full solar eclipse!  Just seven years from now.
