Already our family has enjoyed fair food, visiting with the animals, a drive-in movie, more fair food, watching horse and pony shows , kids frog-jumping, and so much more. The week of the Fair is just starting and there is so much more to look forward to!
Tonight is the first night for Poor Jack Amusements, the petting zoo is up and running with pony rides, Wednesday night is the next round of Wayne County Idol, and all kinds of fun events are happening at the track!
Don’t forget to see the 4H projects inside the Kuhlman Center (enjoy a break in the air conditioning) and all the great talent of 4H’s this year. Cheer on the kids as they show their animals this week and enjoy fireworks on Friday night at dusk. A free live concert is in store for fair goers on the 26th (see details on Gowaynecounty.com) on the Free Stage.
