According to Blair Beach, Richmond Parks Department, families will have two opportunities to view outdoor movies this weekend.
The Sandlot is returning to McBride Stadium this Friday night, June 29th, at dusk. Gates open prior to the showing, with kids activities, and concessions will be available. Cost is FREE, however donations are welcome and will go to support the summer JUKO program in Richmond.
The last free movie of the Neighborhood Movie series
will be shown at Fairview Elementary, 60 NW L St., on Saturday, June 30. All ages are welcome to attend. Kids’ activities begin at 8:30 p.m. and The Smurfs will play at dusk. This movie is rated PG, 103 minutes.
Neighbors are encouraged to walk to the event. Community members can bring chairs, blankets and snacks for the outdoor show. Concessions will be available at the movie.
