Dire Skates Tryouts

The Dire Skates Roller Derby Team is having open try-outs for men and women on August 21st at 4pm at the Richmond Skate. Skate rental available, but bring skates and pads if you have them. They want to add to their current womens’ team, referees, and start up a new co-ed team!  It’s a great way to exercise along with a bit of good clean aggression releasing.

This weekend is also the beginning of the Darke County Fair in Greenville Ohio (just a 35-40 minute drive from points in Wayne County).  And in Winchester they are holding the Old Timer’s races at the Winchester Race Track–home of Mrs Wickes Pies.
