  • Shop Local: Richmond Winter Farmer’s Market
November 23, 2021

As we continue our focus on shopping local for the holidays, in the spotlight this week is the Winter Farmer’s Market.  Artists, local farmers and bakers are gathering each week to offer you an abundance of choices for your holiday meals and gifts.

Located in the Starr Gennett Building, 101 South 1st Street, Richmond IN,  local vendors are providing unique ideas for gift giving.  From painted art, pottery, and leather crafts to knitted textile pieces (neck warmers and gloves, etc) jewelry, and kitchenware –the possibilities are exciting.

Local bakers are offering delicious homemade bread, cookies, and more.  Other food items include locally grown vegetables, fermented kimchi, honey, dairy, eggs, meat, and more!  If all this weren’t just delightful enough, the Winter Market is also offering free live music while shopping.

As we gear up for holiday meals and gift-giving, be sure to make the Winter Farmer’s Market a regular destination spot for your family and party needs! Remember: This Saturday is Shop Small Saturday- no better time to go to the market as well as shopping at small local businesses throughout Wayne County IN!

Winter Market Hours:

Saturdays: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Address: Starr Gennett Building- 101 S. 1st St.
