There are SO many cool and ghoulish things to do this month of October in Wayne County.  So many…that we are making this a multi-part post.  This is Part II of Scary (& not so scary) Things to Do in October.  Click here if you missed Part I.

Film Brew at Roscoes showing “Halloween”

October 7 | 7pm – 11pm

Roscoe’s FILM BREW Series is offering John Carpenter’s classic horror masterpiece, HALLOWEEN. “Celebrate the season of ghouls and goblins with the slasher film that started it all, and if you are feeling especially spooktakular – be sure to show up dressed in an awesome costume.”

Festivities begin at 7pm with a costume contest at 7:30.  Movie starts at 8:00 p.m.  Admission is only $4, which includes your choice of delicious coffee drink – either the Mocha Myers or the Halloween Latte!

Rocky Horror Picture Show – Depot District 

October 15 | 8 p.m. & 11 p.m. 

“Two lovers wait inside a large castle, dripping wet from the rain storm outside. They’ve been greeted by a strange hunchback named Riff Raff and are waiting for the master of the house. Farther inside, a group of people dressed in suits and sunglasses are singing and dancing.  Presented by students of Ball State University, the Rocky Horror Shadow Cast Picture Show is a must see Halloween show. 8pm show for 21 yrs and over.

Cash bar available. 11pm show is for 18 yrs and over.  Located in the Depot District, Market 923 NE Street, Richmond IN.  Level of scariness: for 18 years and up at 11:00 p.m & 21 and up at 8:00 p.m.   Brought to you by the InConcert series.

Halloween Howl – Starr Gennett Building in Gorge

Saturday, October 29 | 5-7 p.m. | Free w/donation of canned food per person

Offering all the scary fun your family can handle at the Starr Gennett building on Saturday, October 29, from 5 – 7 pm! A “Boo-tastic” time with candy, fun, games, candy, prizes, candy, contests, music, and ….. again….candy.  After the games end and the candy is all passed out, join us outside for a Halloween Movie! Go to the Facebook event page to vote on the movie for the night!  Level of scariness– good for all ages!

Please bring a canned good item per person for admission. Concessions will be available for purchase.
