  • “Out of the Attic” Sale in Centerville
September 10, 2014

A large “Out of the Attic” sale will be held at the Mansion House and Log Courthouse lawn on Sept. 12 and 13. The sale is on Friday from 9-5 and Saturday, from 8-12.  Location is the lawn at 214 E. Main, Centerville. There will be no early sales.

Odds and ends had been stored at the Historic House Museum that had nothing to do with the museum’s collection. Many other items have been donated for the sale. The items for sale are not museum artifacts. Careful consideration and care are always given to the artifacts and documents donated to Historic Centerville. Inc.

The sale includes vintage outdoor Christmas decorations, window screens and fans, and several old chairs. There are hand-made braided rugs and lengths of rug made on a loom. A solid wood round dining table, needs repair, antique quilting frames and household items, book and textiles and other unusual items are included.

The sale is for the benefit of the Log Courthouse and for the care of the museum’s collection. Contact 765-478-5251 for further information.
