PRESS RELEASE
Submitted by: Stephanie Sherwood
Kearimi Redmond, a 24 year old mother of 2 in Centerville, IN who is battling thyroid cancer. Kearimi is the daughter of Richard and Terri Redmond of Centerville. Her maternal grandparents are Tom and Betty Tash of Richmond.
We will be holding a benefit for her this coming Sunday, September 29th from 1 PM to 6 PM in Centerville, IN at Maplewood Park & Centerville Christian Church. This benefit will include a car, truck and bike show, cookout, bake sale, auctions, 50/50 drawings, music, activities for kids, vendor booths, etc.
We are requesting donations from local businesses to be used in the auctions.
We (Centerville First Baptist Church) want to get the word out about the event. We want (non-food) vendors to set up their booths. We will be doing the food booth and bake sale. We need cars, trucks and motorcycles to come for the show. And most importantly, we want people to come out to help raise money for Kearimi and her family.
I just received a text at 4:20 PM that they were starting her surgery to reconstruct her neck and remove her voicebox.
Any and all help to spread the word about this event is much appreciated.
You can “like” her page on Facebook, “Friends and Family for Kearimi Redmond”. It will also route you to the event page for this event.
Feel free to contact me, Stephanie Sherwood, at (765) 960-5465, if you have any questions.
