It happens to all of us at some point in our careers. We start out loving our job and then over time we stop learning new things, we stop being challenged and we get bored. We begin to ask ourselves, “where do I go from here?” or “what job would I enjoy?”.
At the Innovation Center, we started talking about how we landed the jobs we have and how sometimes we are not sure what to do next, this got us thinking maybe other people feel the same way. May be other people in our community or in the region are considering their next career move but are not sure how to land the job of their dreams. From this small conversation we created the Richmond Can Career Series! We wanted ideas on how to take our passions and turn them into a career. We wanted to hear from the people that look at resumes every day to tell us what we should put on our resume. And of course, we wanted the inside scoop on how to survive the interview process. So, we started to searching for experts and we found them!
