Come on out for the 1st ever Great Pumpkin 5k Run! You don’t have to be a great runner to enjoy this festive event. Dress up in your favorite costume and participate in the costume contest. Enjoy a 5k run through the park, or even walk it, and stay afterwards for great door prizes.
Even more important is the cause for this race. Proceeds from this race will go towards a community food pantry. If you would like to give additional support to this cause we ask that you bring any non-perishable food item or toiletry item, whether you come to participate or just enjoy this event with your friends or family.

Registration
Registration will be held at Shelter #9 in Glenn Miller Park. Packets for those that have preregistered will also be available for pick up during registration.
Awards and Placings
There will be awards for top 3 male and female overall, as well as first place male and female finishers in each age group. Times and overall placings will be available after the race and also posted on the site within 48 hours of the completion of the race.
Door Prizes
Each participant will be entered for door prizes. If you would like to have additional entries for door prizes please bring two of any non-perishable food items or toiletry items per additional entry. The limit of entries per person is at the disgression of the race staff.
Other Information:
Appropriate costumes are welcome, however not required.
Participants will be recieving enviromentally friendly grocery bags in place of t-shirts
