  • Hundreds Turn Out For Richmond’s Holiday Parade
December 4, 2010

After many people stopped in to the Innovation Center for several kinds of chili (even vegetarian), hot dogs and bread sticks,  warming up for the cold outdoors, they lined the streets for the Holiday Parade.

Several businesses and non-profits participated in the lighted parade including Abilities, RMD Pattie, HELP the Animals, and many schools were represented from the RHS marching band to the Galileo charter school and Seton Catholic Schools.  Starting at 6th street, the parade wound its way up to 10th street with onlookers for the entire route.  Phil Quinn assisted as an emcee of the parade.

Many stores, like Readmore, stayed open late and the Clearcreek Food Coop was packed with shoppers who were “Buying Local.”

Watch the video below for footage of the parade in case you missed it.
