  • Hundreds Of Children Attend Trunk Or Treat At Wayne County Fairgrounds
October 30, 2011
A Strange Pair of Friends....

Trunk or Treat, sponsored again by the Richmond Parks and Recreation Department, was a great “treat” for the hundreds of children who ventured out on a cold night last Wednesday.

So many cute ghouls and boys rounded the circle of decorated trunks with costumed adults and children handing out candy.  And then, indoors to the games and costume contests, food and fun.  It was a great night for the children and those who helped put on the event.

During the costume contest the crowd was also entertained by a magician while the judges tallied their votes for the 7 years and up category.  The judges included the RiverRat and other well known personalities and their task was daunting with so many wonderful entries.

See the video below of the magician’s act and find more pictures of the many children who attended, on our facebook site at Go Wayne County.  Thanks to all  who worked so hard to bring this event to the community.
