GZA Well Known Hip Hop Artist Comes To Earlham College

Friday, March 25, 2011;  7:30 pm; Wellness Center, Shuckman Court

The Earlham College Program Board presents founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, GZA/Genius, in concert, performing his classic album Liquid Swords. Opening the show will be Brother Ali, Freddie Gibbs and Illogic.

GZA’s solo album Liquid Swords was released to critical and commercial acclaim in 1995 and was selected as one of The Source magazine’s 100 Best Rap Albums of all time. Regarded as a masterful lyricist, GZA/Genius, or Gary Grice, has six solo albums and a seventh is expected to be released in late 2011.

Earlham College faculty, staff and students receive one complimentary ticket with I.D. Additional tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets are available at Runyan Desk from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or you can reserve tickets by calling (765) 983-1373.
