On Saturday, June 11, 2011, riders from all over Wayne County and surrounding areas will meet to raise money for a worthy cause- a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Spokespeople will be on site to explain what the illness is and how it affects lives, including Matt who is a CS patient himself.
Proceeds from the ride and hog roast will go to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. (Just recently there was a surprising discovery of the gift of life concerning this illness and research continues).
Registration for the ride is at 10:00 a.m. at the Tally Ho Pub. Bikes will head out at noon to their first stop at Lil Louie’s Bar and Grill in Greensfork. Other stops will include New Castle, Cambridge City, Connersville and then back to Richmond at the Tally Ho Pub for the big Hog Roast.
DJ Jonesey will provide live entertainment (Big Poppa Productions) at the end of the trail. Cost is 10.00 for single riders, 15.00 for riders with passengers plus 5.00 for a plate of Hog and “fixin’s.” There will also be door prizes, 50/50 drawings, corn hole and more.
For more information if you are riding or would like to ride, or if you would like to contribute in some way to this cause call Matt at 765-273-1094.
