The leaves are telling us the season is in full swing, and there are things to do all over Wayne County to celebrate Fall!  Check it out:

fall leavesMorrison Reeves Library: Glow In The Dark

Tonight (October 17) from 6 -7 p.m.  Food, glow in the dark fun and games.  Free, no registration required.

 

 

haunted houseWayne County Historical Museum: Haunted Museum

Starting tonight (October 17) from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.  A not- too- frightening fun time for the whole family!  Papa Murphy’s pizza, story telling by Ghouliana, spooky book readers and more.  Come in costume if you wish…Cost 5.00 adults, 3.00 children 3-17.  2 and under Free.  You can also enjoy this event on 10/18, 10/24 & 10/25.

Dougherty Orchard: Animals & Fall Fun

The orchard is open weekdays from 10 – 6 pm and Sunday noon to 6:00.  Enjoy all your Fall favorites including apple dumplings, mini cinnamon donuts, fresh apples, pumpkins, gourds and feed the animals in the large petting area.  Always a great family tradition.  This year little ones can enjoy an apple ride.  No entry fee.  Individual costs for food, and feeding animals apply.
