Magic is in the air again in Wayne County, magical fairies that is! During Meltdown 2018, the Frozen Fairy Trail is back with more fun and exciting places to visit! (Read on for the stops along the trail)
“The 2018 Frozen Fairy Trail will be filled with exciting events for kids of all ages. This year’s trail includes TEN local businesses with lots of magic in store.
The first stop on the trail will be the Old National Road Welcome Center. Their event will take place from 11 am to 3 pm. They will have two games, a craft, refreshments, and a fairy costume contest.
From the Welcome Center, all fairies will head westward to the Richmond Bargain Center. Their activities last from 11 am to 3 pm but special guest Elsa from Frozen will be there from 11 am to 2 pm. Their fairy door is available for finding and there will be a giveaway!
Up next is Hayes Arboretum who will have their event from 10 am to 2 pm! Stop by the Arboretum to find their secret fairy garden and participate in a dazzling craft!
Heading further west on the trail you will come across the Wayne County Historical Museum. Their fairy door will be up for finding and kids can color at the Frozen Coloring Station from 1 pm to 4 pm. They can also receive a delicious cookie courtesy of the Richmond Baking Company.
From 9:30 am to 4 pm, Morrisson-Reeves Library will have their doors open to magical fairies to find their fairy door. There will also be a coloring station for everyone to release some magical creativity.
Up next on the trail will be Ullery’s Homemade Ice-Cream from 12 pm to 9 pm. Along with a fairy door to find, children will be able to leave a fairy-dust sprinkled treat and take one for themselves!
The Two Sisters: Books and More will be doing face paint from 9 am to 7 pm. Their fairy door will also be up for finding!
Nearing the end of the trail is Richmond Furniture Gallery. Their fairy door and giveaway will be open for trail goers from 9:30 am to 7 pm!
Paint the Towne will open their doors from 10 am to 7 pm for fairy trail followers. They will have a brand new fairy house for kids to find. On top of that, children will be able to paint a FREE snowflake magnet.
Last but not least, Joseph Moore Museum will have their event from 1 pm to 5 pm. Refreshments will be provided while you search for their fairy door. At 3 pm, there will be a wintry, educational program for kids!” (Visit Richmond)
