  • Fireworks 5K Saturday, June 30th, 2012: Part Of Wayne County Challenge
June 14, 2012

The Wayne County Challenge (a non-profit organization) organizes an annual series of distance running (or walking!) races held within Wayne County, Indiana.  Each race in the WCC series is independently directed, with its own fundraising methods and objectives. All proceeds generated by these races are used by charitable organizations to benefit Wayne County residents in numerous ways. The next race will be the Fireworks 5K, set to take place on Saturday, June 30th, at 9am with registration at 8am, at the Glen Miller Park. The proceeds from this race will benefit Harry Ray Post 65 to help pay for the Richmond fireworks display.  Please visit their website for all other info at www.wcchallenge.org. (see schedule for other 5K runs below).
