Richmond Civic Theatre will present the play All My Sons by Arthur Miller on Feb. 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. and on Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. This drama takes place in 1947, shortly after World War II, and portrays one average American family, the

Kellers, who have experienced those war years personally. The successful family business produced parts for military aircraft. The two sons both served in the military; one of them did not return.

One theme of the play is a person’s responsibility to his family, to his country and to his fellow human beings. And when those responsibilities seem to be in conflict, which is most important? The play’s title suggests that “family” can include more than blood relatives. For example, one could consider all of the servicemen, or all of the younger generation, to be his sons.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Also, active duty military personnel may purchase two tickets to any performance of All My Sons at the discount price of $12 each.
