  • Musical Arts Quintet Tonight At Earlham College: Stout Meetinghouse

Current members of the MAQ are Mihoko Watanabe, flute; Johanna Cox, oboe; Elizabeth Crawford, clarinet; Keith Sweger, bassoon; and Gene Berger, horn.

One of the Country’s oldest and most distinguished chamber ensembles of its kind, the Musical Arts Woodwind Quintet, resident faculty from Ball State University School of Music, is touring Indiana on an American Masters Initiative through the National Endowment for the Arts.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, in Stout Meetinghouse. A masterclass with the Earlham Woodwind Quintet at 4:15 p.m. is open to the public. The events are sponsored by the Earlham Music Department. Admission is free.
