Back to School Splash Bash Tonight:

7:30pm – 10:00pm

Municipal Pool /Richmond Indiana. Enjoy the last days of summer with a Back to School Splash Bash. Last Family night at the pool, games, music, giveaways and more! First100 kids will receive a special gift to get them ready for school. All ages. Cost under 17, 2.00. 18 and over 3.00. Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department of Richmond.

Summer Concert Series: After Midnight

Fri, August 13, 8pm – 10pm; Glen Miller Park Band Shell

After Midnight a favorite from 2009 returns for the 2nd week of the concert series. Flash back to the ’70s with music from Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Boston etc. Cost: Free, Sponsored by Richmond Parks and Recreation.

Dancing at the First Summer Concert

Milton Days :

Saturday & Sunday, Aug 14 – 15 2010, Milton IN, Wayne County

Talent contest, citizen of the year, FFA will have a petting zoo, Live music 2:00 Saturday. Dance at 8:00 p.m. Worship service on Sunday 8:00 at Milton Fire House Lawn. Sunaday, 10:00 a.m. corn hole and much more!

Economy Days:

Saturday, Aug 14, 2010, Economy Indiana, Wayne Co

An all day event with Parade sign up at 2:00 and parade at 2:30. Also: yard sales, kiddie tractor pull, moon bounce and dunk tank for kids. Come enjoy a summer day with the kids, friends and family.

Lowe’s Kids Projects

Saturday, August 14, 10am – 11am, Lowe’s on East Side of Richmond

Projects to build, every two weeks on Saturday. This week the project is a Bug Box. Cost Free!
