This year the Richmond Farmer’s Market includes many fun and entertaining additions each week.
Saturday, July 17th from 10 – 11 a.m. there will be stories by Jennie Kiffmeyer, brought to you by the Clear Creek Co-op. They will be traditional folk tales about food which are especially suited for children ages 3 – 10 years but all are welcome.
Jennie’s stories have been rated by some pretty important sources:

Also at the farmer’s market this week between 7-9 a.m. you can listen to the music of Gill Miller of Sweet Surrendor. And last but not least—buy local produce by local farmers, eat healthy and make the earth a greener place.
The Farmer’s Market in the Depot District occurs each Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. from May to October, in Richmond. Shops will be open and in the Richmond Furniture Gallery lot there will be other fun activities.
Hagerstown
Every Wednesday from about 5 – 7 p.m. Hagerstown offers its own Farmer’s Market. Loaded with fresh produce and baked goods from area farmers, it is located off of Sycamore in the parking lot of the elementary school as you come into town on 38.
There are about 9 to 10 vendors each week, and about half of those are Amish groups. Also available are dinners provided by area churches and organizations. They include foods such as walking tacos, sandwiches etc.
According to Bob Warner, Town Manager, there may be some local produce and baked good vendors at the Flying Circus next Tuesday, July 20th. They will be set up throughout the day. This is the second year of Hagerstown’s Farmer’s Market.
