There are regular weekends and then there are the more busy ones.  4th of July weekend we have fireworks.  Lots and lots of fireworks.  And many other things going on you’ll want to check out.

Celebration and Sponsorship for Avenue of Flags: Friday and Saturday July 2nd -3rd at Richmond Furniture Gallery.  Railroaders will set up their train displays, bouncer for children, free popcorn and an area to sign up to sponsor a flag in honor of a veteran.

Blast at the Overpass: July 3rd 6:00 pm in Beer Garden by 4th Floor Blues Club (More info…)

Fireworks:

Richmond : July 3rd, on Roosevelt Hill at dusk (around 10:00 p.m.)
Cambridge City: July 4th, at Creitz Park at dusk (around 10:00 p.m.)
Hagerstown: July 4th, at the airport at dusk (around 10:00 p.m.)

Roosevelt Hill activities Freedom Jam: July 4th 12 pm-10 pm Freedom Jam starts in the early afternoon at Glen Miller Park on Roosevelt Hill and lasts until the fireworks begin. There will be bands playing all afternoon. Harry Ray Post 65 is in charge of the day at the park.
