Hagerstown Hometown Christmas
If you are looking for a fun holiday event this weekend, you will want to put this one on your list:
Saturday, December 6, Santa will visit during the Hagerstown Hometown Christmas celebration. His schedule is as follows:
- 9:30 a.m. Santa will appear at Nettle Creek Hardware, 485 E. Main St.
- 12:00 p.m., he will be at the Hagerstown Elementary School Gym, 299 N. Sycamore St.
- 1:00 p.m. he will arrive at The Dairy, 255 E. College St.
- 2 p.m., Old Saint Nick will arrive at holiday craft show at The Meeting Place, 11 E. Main St.
- 3:00 p.m., Santa will end up at Abbott’s Candies, 48 E. Walnut St., at 3 p.m.
There are many more activities scheduled for the day, besides the Santa visits:
A holiday craft show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Meeting Place. You can enjoy wood crafts, Scentsy products, jewelry, wall hangings, oil lamps, honey, scarves, Thirty-One merchandise, Pampered Chef, home decor and much more. The pumpkin baking contest will also take place at The Meeting Place, along with the Methodist Church Bell Choir performance, which starts at 4:30 p.m.
Dance With Cindy will provide live entertainment with a recital from 10:30 a.m. to noon at 98 W. Main St. Holiday photos can be taken from noon to 6 p.m. during Psi Iotes Picture Booth Fun Shoots at The Arts Place, 96 ½ E. Main St. Boy scouts will light luminaries at 5 p.m. before they begin hosting a spaghetti dinner at The Meeting Place at 5:30 p.m. Carriage rides will be available from 5-8 p.m. in front of Antique Uniques, 96 E. Main St.
