Catalyst 4Change
is an awards ceremony which honors people at four levels (national, local, alumni and philanthropist) who have made a significant positive impact on the lives of youth.
Tim Brown of the Oakland Raiders
This year’s national honoree is Tim Brown of the Oakland Raiders. The first wide receiver to win the Heisman Trophy, Brown has helped over 5 million children as a mentor and educator. “In 1995, Brown became the National Chairman of Athletes & Entertainers for Kids and the related 9-1-1 for Kids.” These efforts have helped children and teens through mentoring and educational programs.
In addition to the awards ceremony, Catalyst includes both a dinner and auction on September 25, 2014, 5:30-9:00pm at Forest Hills Country Club. The cost is $100 for individuals $700 for a table of eight. For reservations call 765-939-4565 or email masher@wernle.org
