  • Veteran’s Day Parade Well Attended Today In Richmond
November 11, 2012
Veteran’s Day Parade, 2012, GWC

Onlookers and supporters of veterans lined the streets today from 14th and East Main to the City Building for what was the biggest Veteran’s Day Parade yet, in Wayne County.

Three area bands participated this year from Centerville, Richmond and Northeastern.  All played uplifting and patriotic songs.  Taps were also played along the route in honor of the fallen (see video below) and service people from all branches of the military were present.

It was a beautiful day to remember those who have served, those who are serving now, and those who gave their lives during their service.
