As a continuation of our focus on “Buying Local” we want to remind you that this Saturday, November 26, 2011 is “Small Business Saturday. (see video below)

Remember as you check off items on your Holiday shopping list that you shop for them at locally owned small businesses in Wayne County. The possibilities are endless and include gift certificates from your favorite family owned and operated restaurant, unique toys from Veache’s, fine furniture at great prices from Richmond Furniture Gallery and unique gifts from shops all over Wayne County including Parker’s General Store with old fashioned candies, toys, tools, wines and beers and much more. For other choices in wines, add J & J Winery to your list and for fudge and other sweets- the Pour House in Cambridge City…and the list goes on and on.

Let us know what your favorite locally owned shop is that you frequent, and where you plan to buy gifts for those you love.
