“Season Of Savings”

Richmond, Indiana – The Wayne County Tourism Bureau’s Gift Shop, located in the Old National Road Welcome Center, is collaborating with six Wayne County businesses to encourage local shopping during the gift-giving season. The annual two-day Open House has been replaced with a month-long “Season of Savings in Wayne County” promotion that will offer a discount at the Welcome Center Gift Shop, followed by savings at the six partner businesses throughout December.
Coupons worth 25% off one item at our Gift Shop will be available at the six participating businesses — Veach’s Toy Station, Warm Glow Candle Outlet, The Secret Ingredient, Good Life Emporium, The Corner Oak, and J&J Winery – as well as during the Downtown Richmond Christmas Parade on December 2 and the Old Fashioned Christmas Festivals in the Historic Depot District on November 29 and December 16, 13 and 20. The coupons will also be available on the WCCTB website and Facebook page as well (www.visitrichmond.org and http://www.facebook.com/#!/visitrichmondin.
When visitors use their Gift Shop coupon and purchase at least $10 worth of items here, they will receive a multi-business coupon, with discounts of 15-25%, to use at the six partner businesses listed above. Both the Gift Shop coupon and the multi-business coupon must be used by December 31, 2011.
The Old National Road Welcome Center Gift Shop features many Richmond, Wayne County and Indiana-related items, as well as products made by local organizations and individuals, such as Potter’s Soaps & Lotions, Warm Glow Candles, locally-produced honey & syrup, hand-blown glass, jewelry, books and more. Several of the artists will visit the Gift Shop during December to demonstrate their craft and sell personalized items. The Gift Shop is located at 5701 National Road East in Richmond.
