The second annual NHPA sanctioned Richmond Open will draw players from across eastern Indiana from Seymore to Ft. Wayne on Saturday, June 19, 2010.
Horseshoe pitchers will gather at the Clearcreek Park courts in Richmond on Saturday beginning around 9:00 a.m. and the tournament will run until the last pitcher throws a shoe (into the evening). The rain date will be on Sunday.

Back in the 1970’s – 1980’s the tournament was called the Rose City Open. (Some of the elders from that era are still pitching today). The Richmond League itself has been around for over 65 years.
This is an open tournament which will include men, women and elder pitchers.
Spectators are welcome. There are bleachers for seating and the park concession stand will be open. There is no cost to watch the tournament.

For more information call John Passmore, tournament director at: 765-993-3855.
