Historic Centerville’s Annual Quilt and Needlework Show
will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Projects will be turned in on Tuesday, August 21, from 3 – 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 and all monies go toward the restoration and maintenance of The Mansion House property and The Old Salisbury Court House. The Mansion House is located at 214 E Main Street in Centerville.
Â
We encourage those in the community who make garments, crochet, knit, embroider, or create through needlework in any way to submit items for display.
Â
There will be a quilter’s/crafter’s flea market so if you have patterns, books, magazines, fabric, or other items that others might want, and you would like to get rid of, bring them on Tuesday, August 21, from 3 – 6:30 p.m. We will price items for the flea market,  and the money will go in with the admission price for the many projects (new roof – $8,000 and chinking/maintenance of the Court House – $13,000) we are in need of completing in order to prevent deterioration of these structures.
Â
Call Myra Baldwin at 977-5605 with any questions you may have. Arrangements can be made to pick up and return items if the date/time are not suitable for you.
Â
We appreciate your support of this community project.
