The Father/Daughter Take A Walk Together Day will be on July 12 on the former Glen Miller Golf Course at 6 p.m.
The free event includes refreshments, games, giveaways and photos in the adjacent Rose Garden. This is the third year the event has taken place. Local businesses are participating in the event through donations. Refreshments will come from Clear Creek Food Co-op, Townsend Food Project, Richmond Baking, Kroger and Walmart. Photos will be taken by Walgreens.
The Richmond Parks and Recreation department sponsors these events to provide for the positive development and well being of the Richmond community through the provision of parks, greenways, trails and recreational programming and facilities. The department works in cooperation with other service providers and partners in the community to maximize all available resources.
